meet the owner​

Betty Walton, Owner of CLEAR SPEECH NOW PLLC,

received her B.A. degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1979 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  In 1983, she earned a M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Hampton Institute (University).  

For the past 37 years, Mrs. Walton has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist providing services to pediatrics, adolescents, and adults in the following settings:  educational, rehabilitative, home health care, day support, and long-term care. She has also been practicing as a corporate trainer, providing customer service and accent modification training to business professionals and International Medical Graduates.  She is skilled in all areas of communication, affording her an opportunity to collaborate with various persons from different cultural and social levels.

In her spare time, Betty enjoys teaching people about the Bible, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband have visited all of the continents except Antarctica.  Her experiences, both professionally and personally, have enhanced her expertise in all facets of communication.
